COURSE OBJECTIVES
The course is aimed at teaching book publishing
from linguistics perspective. It traces the history of book publishing and emphasizes
different ways by which linguistic knowledge can be applied to editing aspect
of book publishing. Specifically it dwells on how the knowledge of phonology,
syntax and semantics can help in attaining the level of a good publication.
